9. Shida Emerges From The Pack

A fun women's four-way match unfolded on Dynamite. Pitting Shanna, Hikaru Shida, Yuka Sakazaki, and Big Swole against each other, it came with considerable championship implications as while Nyla Rose and Kris Statlander will contest the belt at Revolution, Shida and Sakazaki were ranked three and four respectively and Swole was coming off a couple of wins herself. The victor would have had a great claim for a post-Revolution title shot.

The match was good. It began with the cool little moment of Sakazaki booting every other competitor in the middle of a triple test of strength and evolved into an exciting maelstrom of quick exchanges and hot action. It didn't overstay its welcome and just over nine minutes either and Shida, in victory, has likely punched her ticket for a shot at whoever wins between Rose and Statlander.

A running knee on Swole sealed the deal. This may have caught some fans by surprise after Swole went face-to-face with Nyla last week, but isn't that part of the fun?
