12 Ups & 13 Downs For WWE In 2019 (So Far)

5. The Firefly Fun House

Who'd have thought that Bray Wyatt, misused to the point of almost complete indifference from the fanbase, would become Raw's saving grace as the show descended into madness following WrestleMania 35?

The Firefly Fun House was a delight from start to finish. Its eight wonderful episodes presented Wyatt as the most exciting and intriguing thing in the company, and one of the few reasons to watch WWE's flagship show most weeks. Part of this is down to the man himself, who was supposedly given a greater degree of creative freedom to work his magic, and introducing things like 'The Fiend' and his cast of weird little puppet characters, Wyatt has given himself years of material to work with.

With the Fun House seemingly over, Abby the Witch, Mercy the Buzzard, and Wyatt's other pals have started lurking in backstage segments. Here's hoping WWE stick the landing when it's time to finally bring the big man back to television himself. They've done right by Bray so far, and the puppet sightings bring a level of subtlety we don't normally expect from the promotion.
