3. Eddie's Next Nightmare

Michael Elgin once again had an opportunity to discuss his best of five series with Eddie Edwards, and for a change, 'Big Mike' didn't just say that the Call For Shot trophy belonged to him. This was, of course, very much needed.

Elgin stated how both Sami Callihan and Ace Austin had to go to extreme lengths just to unleash the beast inside of the former American Wolf, making his life a complete nightmare from start to finish. 'The Draw' had to hit Eddie in the eye with a baseball bat to get any sort of reaction out of him, whereas 'The One True Ace' had to pursue a romantic interest in Eddie's wife Alisha to push him further towards the edge.

While Eddie is always on edge, Elgin knows he can just relax. He doesn't need to make any sort of special effort to drive the multi-time World Tag Team Champion into insanity, so he can just show up, do what he does best, and head home again, no questions asked. Rebellion will mark a year since he came into Impact in pursuit of the World Championship, so what better to celebrate one year in a company than by lifting that very title?

A fantastic promo from 'Unbreakable' Michael, and one that was definitely needed. The matches thus far have been superb, however, you need words to add more to a story sometimes. Repeating the same thing over and over gets tedious, so this was a required addition before the third match of the potential five.
