12 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 18)

9. A Gift To Us All

Trey of The Rascalz is a gift to us all, apparently. He was backstage with Tommy Dreamer and World Champion Tessa Blanchard ahead of their main event vs. Ace Austin and Reno Scum - for everything 'The Innovator of Violence' had to say, Trey was fantastic in his varied use of facial expressions to make everything come to life even more.

Dreamer compared The Rascalz member to Rey Mysterio, before talking about all the barriers Tessa has knocked down to become the first female World Champion in history. For those, Trey seemed both overjoyed and proud, with that look soon turning to disgust as Dreamer revealed to Trey that Ace Austin wanted to "bang his mom". His words, not the words of this writer.

The whole promo ended with a phenomenal line from Tessa, as she told Ace that the better man will win at Sacrifice, and that the better man may very well just be a woman. Comments like that are why Tessa is one of the best in the world right now - well, that and the fact she's legitimately one of the best in-ring performers. Even though neither the World Championship nor the X Division Championship will be on the line, both competitors have put everything into making this a hotly-anticipated contest.
