12 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Bash At The Beach (Jan 15)

4. Eye For An Eye

Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle were always going to clap back at Jon Moxley after the previous week's betrayal - and they did so in suitably brutish style last night.

Moxley was in the ring after defeating Sammy Guevara. "Judas" hit, the lights dimmed, and the entire heel faction were in the ring when they came back on. Moxley threw himself into the fire but was picked apart almost immediately. Ground down by Jake Hager then Jericho, Moxley was kicked in the d*ck, whipped by 'Le Champion's' belt, then stabbed in the f*ckin' eye by a spike from Jericho's ridiculous jacket. A weighty, impactful moment, and the announcers did a great job of putting it over.

The Inner Circle relented as a group of referees and a medic descended to take care of Moxley. They'd done their damage, though Mox's retribution will be swift and brutal. This feud just got a whole lot more personal and while Jon still has to get through PAC, one can only imagine the kind of violent delights him and Jericho are going to inflict on one another over the next few weeks.
