12 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Bash At The Beach (Jan 15)

Jon Moxley's display of pure bad*ssery in Dynamite's closing stages ruled, with the busted-up 'Purveyor Of Violence' powering out of an ambulance, bandaged and bloodied, saying that he didn't care if he was blind: he'd be there to fight PAC next week, because the AEW World Championship shot has his name on it.

It came from a typically gruff PAC promo that saw 'The Bastard' growl that there was no way Moxley could compete against him next week after the Inner Circle's brawl. He insisted on a forfeiture, then promised Jericho he was coming for him, all in his harsh Geordie brogue.

Over-relying on staredowns to build matches and storylines is a product of laziness, but it felt right here. AEW don't run angles like this every single week, after all, and PAC and Moxley have pre-existing beef from their TV time limit draw on Dynamite's 23 October episode to lean on as well.
