12 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Full Gear

11. Look At That Stage!

Different aesthetics are important. Not only do they prevent the onset of staleness, but they help shows feel distinct and more important, giving fans a nice little pop in the process, so kudos to AEW for flipping their usual set design for Full Gear.

Doing away with the TNA-style entrance tunnels, the promotion brought in an elevated WCW ramp, three towering video screens, and a whole bunch of gears to decorate the stage with. It looked great, and we can only hope that this leads to more unique PPV set designs as the promotion progresses.

Take note, WWE.
