15. Enzo & Cass’ Falls From Grace

When Enzo Amore & Big Cass were called up to the main roster in 2016, they seemed to have it made: the perfect opening act that had a great connection with the crowd. They could fill a role on the house show circuit for years, get a cup of coffee with tag titles from time to time, and eventually split to let Cass get a singles run.

Instead, we got something much, much different.

2018 began with WWE Cruiserweight Champion Amore being under investigation for sexual assault, which resulted in him being immediately fired from the company and vacating the title. It was the last time we saw of him, save for an unplanned cameo in the crowd at Survivor Series, where Enzo wore a disguise to get in, sit facing the hard camera and do his entrance promo before getting tossed by security.

Meanwhile, Big Cass was healing up from a 2017 injury and returned to SmackDown at the Superstar Shakeup in April. He began feuding with Daniel Bryan, which went badly for him, losing both singles match before he was released in June due to behavioral issues.

Just like that, both men were gone.
