It has been a while since a women’s match had a “big fight feel” in WWE, but the first clash between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks definitely had that vibe. It helped that Sasha had waffled Becky with a steel chair before, and Lynch is one of the best promos around right now.

The match was all offense, with both women going for their submission finishers multiple times and hitting each other with some solid moves throughout. Banks played her role very well, while Becky showed a little extra aggression in handing out a beating on Sasha.

The post-DQ brawl was wonderfully done, harkening back to the old Attitude Era brawls into the crowd, as they went up the steps, through the concession area and back down into the arena. Both women continued to tear into each other, with Lynch getting the upper hand and leaving with her title held high.

It was a really good match and brawl, and it left you wanting to see them fight again. Well done.
