12 WrestleMania 32 Worries For Smart Marks

6. NXT Talent In Andre Battle Royal

Everybody got excited when Hideo Itami beat Neville and Balor to enter the battle royal at the showcase of the immortals. WWE were pulling the trigger on dynamic new acquisitions, or at least teasing it. That€™s what we all thought. Enter The Big Show. Out Hideo went, off Hideo popped, and the giant (he€™s a giant) held his trophy high as it glistened in the sun.

NXT fans are very protective of their wrestlers. Portrayed (and in many ways treated) by WWE as a separate brand, Triple H€™s baby has scored some big names and is developing its own. Mimicking territories of old, it mixes veterans and youngsters to their mutual benefit.

What WWE struggle to grasp is that appearing on €˜Mania, while admittedly a huge deal, may not be as important as what you€™re doing at €˜Mania. There€™s a trade-off there. Many Smarks prefer NXT to RAW and pitting the two differently received sets of talent together may only serve to damage new wrestlers with no real benefit to their main roster counterparts.

Okay fine, take Eva Marie.
