12 WrestleMania 35 Match Predictions Following WWE Fastlane 2019
4. Elias Vs. The Undertaker
As absurd as this pairing may appear, there seemed a certain synergy appearing in between the cracks during WWE's fanciful Fastlane offering.
Elias' crowd-baiting banter was a repeat offender between battles, as was a WrestleMania commercial that kicked off with visions of 'The Deadman' during one of his legendary 'Show Of Shows' entrance. It'd be easier to consider the proximity of the two little more than luck and chance on the night, but it echoed much about Undertaker's odd presentation the prior year and the involvement of the acoustic irritation there, too.
The strum of Elias' guitar in place of a tolling bell brought New Orleans to its knees and John Cena to a justified boiling point in 2018, but the Raw regular has since become the repeated victim of interruptions and interjections himself. If another short match is all Undertaker feels fit enough to wrestle (and his relationship with Vince McMahon isn't as fractious as has been reported), the combination seems far more appealing than anything that requires any further creative or audience investment.
