Jerome Young is one of the most notoriously violent pro wrestlers of all time. There's a danger to the man's performances which few can claim to match. Young is best remembered as 'New Jack' in the original ECW. Never the best technician between the ropes, New Jack didn't really try to be. Instead, he favoured weapon-based brawling. It wasn't uncommon for the guy's matches to play out like extended interludes for each show. His theme music, 'Natural Born Killaz' by Ice Cube and Dr. Dre played throughout the action, which seemed like an ultra-violent music video. Something else New Jack was partial to was jumping off of high places, often onto prone opponents who were laid out on tables. At the Living Dangerously Pay-Per-View in the Spring of 2000, New Jack legitimately gave himself brain damage and was blinded in one eye. Falling some 25 feet from scaffolding, New Jack and his colleague, Vic Grimes, missed the tables set up to break their fall. They're extremely lucky to have escaped with their lives, because the stunt could have been a lot worse.
