12 Wrestlers Who Suffered The Most From WWE WrestleMania 36
6. Sasha Banks & Bayley
Here it was. The stars had now aligned and we were finally going to see that long awaited Sasha Banks and Bayley implosion on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Only we didn't, because of course we didn't. That would be too easy, right?
With Banks' inclusion in the SmackDown Women's Championship Fatal Five-Way Elimination match alongside Lacey Evans, Naomi, Tamina and Champion Bayley, fans were hoping that 'The Boss' would finally turn her back on her best friend in the climax of the contest.
For a brief moment it looked as though that long awaited split was about to come to fruition mid way through the bout, but instead Banks decided to assist Bayley in the closing stages and helped her buddy hold onto her belt for another day.
It's fair to say that most fans have been growing tired of trying to will this series of no doubt outstanding grudge matches into existence and 'Mania 36's latest tease may have now soured the WWE Universe on the idea of this feud completely.
Bayley and Sasha Banks left WrestleMania 36 with their friendship still intact, but any hopes of considerable crowd investment in their eventual break-up suffered a weighty blow on this night.
