1. Dean Ambrose

Not only does Dean Ambrose want to leave WWE, but he might be the one person on this list who gets his wish any time in the near future, with the promotion set to let 'The Lunatic Fringe' depart when his current contract expires at the end of the month.

Conspiracy theorists have had a field day with this story. That Ambrose keeps showing up on television despite constant "last matches" and "final appearances" strengthens the idea that it's a work, though every media outlet that matters disagrees. Regardless, the initial reports set the internet ablaze. Dean isn't a Brock Lesnar/Ronda Rousey-level star, but he is a star, and the notion that such a big name wanted to leave the promotion spoke volumes.

There's no telling where Ambrose will land when his deal runs out, with some reports suggesting he could leave professional wrestling entirely. Conversely, other sources have stated that the former Jon Moxley will start taking bookings as soon as he walks out of Titan Towers.

Whatever happens, Ambrose's future is one of the year's most interesting news stories, and it doesn't feel like we're even closer to its resolution yet.
