12 Wrestlers Who Will Eventually End Up In All Elite Wrestling

3. Jon Moxley

Dean Ambrose Double Or Nothing
AEW/WWE

It was strange to see WWE acknowledge Dean Ambrose's desire to not re-sign with the company months before his contract even expired ... and for Ambrose to actually deliver on his promise of leaving the promotion when he did.

Ambrose broke the internet when he returned to Twitter on May 1 and announced in a vignette that he planned on going by his old ring name Jon Moxley again. Now, the possibilities are endless for him in the world of wrestling. Any company would be lucky to have him, and as a former WWE champion, he is perhaps the biggest name in wrestling right now not signed to a contract.

Fans dissected the aforementioned vignette he posted online and pulled out hints of him appearing at Double or Nothing. Combine that with how he lives in Las Vegas and it's all but guaranteed that he will make his presence felt on the pay-per-view in some form or fashion.

Whether that will translate to an AEW contract for him off the bat is uncertain, but it'd make sense for All Elite Wrestling to want to target a star of his calibre. Moxley clashing with Kenny Omega or rekindling his rivalry with Chris Jericho are only two exciting options for him in AEW.
