12 Wrestlers Who Will Eventually End Up In All Elite Wrestling
1. Marty Scurll
Marty Scurll is the only original member of The Elite not currently in All Elite Wrestling, because similar to Flip Gordon, his contract with Ring Of Honor didn't expire at the same time as The Young Buck, Adam Page, and Cody's.
As a result, Scurll was more or less “killed off” Being the Elite earlier this year, though he can still be seen in the intro to the show. Since being separated from his stablemates, Scurll has temporarily found new friends in Brody King and PCO in ROH.
Collectively known as Villain Enterprises, the trio captured the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship back in March, though Scurll hasn't had much success on his own otherwise. In addition to unsuccessfully challenging for the ROH World Championship at G1 Supercard, he failed to beat Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship weeks later.
Scurll remains a very popular act in ROH, but it seems the company isn't keen on pushing him knowing full well that he is on his way out (see: Dean Ambrose). They aren't even attempting to convince him to stay, because no matter how much money they offer him, ROH is bound to be outbid by his buddies in AEW.
For as many beloved heroes that there are on the AEW roster right now, the company is still in need of that one true villain. Scurll appearing on AEW's TNT debut show in the fall would be too perfect of an opportunity for them to pass up.
