12 Wrestlers Who Will Eventually End Up In All Elite Wrestling

9. Matt Cross

Matt Cross often doesn't get the credit he deserves for being as talented as he is.

WWE passing on Cross during the 2011 season of Tough Enough was probably the best thing to happen to him, as it allowed to him continue carving out an excellent body of work for himself on the independent scene. He also had a great run in Lucha Underground where he won the Trios Championship on three separate occasions.

Cross had a chance to show the world what he was made of at All In when he took on MFJ in the opening match. It's interesting to note that although he emerged victorious, he is nowhere to be seen (as of this writing) on the Double or Nothing card, whereas MJF will be an entrant in the Casino Battle Royale.

It's possible his current contract with Lucha Underground is holding him back from signing with All Elite Wrestling full-time, but with AEW bringing in the best from the independent scene and beyond, it seems strange he hasn't already made the jump there. Soon, though.
