Double J was just a man who had a dream.

He wanted to make it big, and sell out arenas with thousands of people chanting his name. But this wasn’t about wrestling for him, this was about country music. You see, his master plan was to become a professional wrestler to enhance his music career obviously because...because...wait a second, that doesn’t make any damn sense!

While I guess he got to have one of his songs played on Raw, you would think fighting full-time across the country would be a really horrible career decision to get into the music industry, as it would take up a lot of his free time and he could be badly injured in the process.

Well, Double J never did reach the big time as a musician, so instead he resorted to hitting people with guitars and calling them 'slapnuts' for a living.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
