12 WWE PPV Buys In 2015 Ranked (And What They Mean)

9. Extreme Rules - 56,000 Buys

Extreme Rules is in a tricky spot, coming off the back of WrestleMania, and last year the card wasn't really that impressive. Seth Rollins versus Randy Orton in a cage? The feud had been hot going into Mania, but it felt like a cheap substitute in place of the Rollins versus Lesnar match that everyone wanted to see after 'Mania's shocking ending. Another rematch on the card was John Cena versus Rusev, which was stale after also featuring on the two previous PPVs. Unexpectedly, the match of the night ended up being Roman Reigns versus Big Show. But absolutely nobody had wanted to see that bout going in, so it really counted for nothing when it came to drawing people in.
