12 WWE PPV Buys In 2015 Ranked (And What They Mean)

10. Survivor Series - 50,000 Buys

This one has to be disappointing for WWE, one of their traditional big four, finishing the year near the bottom of the pile for PPV buys. Was it down to more people going over to the Network? Possibly, but in truth Survivor Series buyrates have been on the decline for some time. Many people now view the big four as Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Money In The Bank, and SummerSlam. Perhaps what hurt Survivor Series 2015 was the lack of a main event being announced ahead of time. But the WWE Title tournament and The Undertaker should have been more than capable of drawing. The number shows that the belt isn't perceived as well or as important as it should be, and that fans really didn't buy into 'Taker's feud with The Wyatt Family. Indeed, the booking for that supernatural feud was too silly for anyone to take seriously. It was a waste of The Deadman and had to be part of the reason for the low number.
