People say a picture is worth a thousand words, and it's quite the challenge to think about an angle in recent wrestling history that went as nowhere as the one pictured above did.

The Brothers of Destruction went to war over Kane's World Heavyweight Championship in quite the dull Buried Alive Match, in what was their third pay-per-view title match in a row already, with the other two being gimmicked matches as well.

This bout saw the 'brothers' exchange a really weak Attitude Era-like brawl all over ringside until they took the fight into the grave, eventually. Undertaker had the match won near the end but decided to turn his attention to Paul Bearer, falling victim to the mother of all random attacks, courtesy of The Nexus, and losing thanks to them.

Speaking of The Nexus, the leader Wade Barrett found himself challenging Randy Orton for RAW's WWE Championship in the main event of this very same event.

John Cena would be fired in case Barrett didn't win the match, so Cena came in at the end and AA'd Barrett himself, keeping the strap on 'The Viper' while giving Barrett the cheap win (but a win regardless) that allowed him to save his job.

Again, people used to pay 40 dollars to get these finishes...
