12 WWE Superstars Who Weren’t Drafted (And Why)

10. R-Truth

WWE Draft 2023 Bray Wyatt

"What's up!". What's up is that veteran R-Truth is another on the bench rehabbing a torn quadriceps issue. It's one that could probe problematic for the now-51 year old stalwart. Granted, Truth often passes for way younger than that, but it's hard to pick out a spot for him on the full-time roster in 2023.

Is this the beginning of the end for the one-time K-Kwik?

It wouldn't have made any sense for WWE to include Truth in this year's Draft. He got injured last November, and there's been next-to-no-mention of him on TV ever since. So, randomly plucking him out of thin air for a spot in the Draft (even the supplemental one) would've been weird.

Truth will either find himself making up the numbers as a free agent when he returns, or he'll move into a coaching/producer role behind the scenes. It could well be time for him to move onto the next chapter of his career, but that'll be his decision.
