1. Last Monster Standing

Triple H Shane McMahon

Despite how befuddling the ending of the pay-per-view may have felt, WWE did at least protect one of their literal biggest weapons to come from the as-yet-unproven Performance Centre star factory.

In darker days gone by, all your favourite dreamboats would have eaten Pedigrees, but Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode were at least slammed to death by Braun Strowman en route to surviving the match with the treacherous Triple H. 'The Game' still had to embody all his cerebralist assassinist clout in the closing stretch of course. God forbid he look remotely troubled by the majority of the fellas in the battle - in the last week he's set up enough WrestleMania matches to work more on the 'Show Of Shows' than the time Vince McMahon made him wrestle five times on an edition of SmackDown.

There was much to criticise about the booking of the contest's closing stretch, not least because of just because of how much of it revolved around the 'King Of Kings'. He only put himself in the match last Monday, what on earth had they got planned before then?!

Thankfully, Braun putting him down and (just about) out to close the show left a window open for him to do it again next Spring if he's not busy claiming one of the World Titles. The company may not push all your favourites, but they can't be accused of not getting firmly behind this valuable starlet.
