11. Star Bursts

Triple H Shane McMahon

Triple H and John Cena, compu-global hyper-megastars that they are, couldn't give less of a sh*t about Raw Vs SmackDown Live!

One one hand, this makes them sane heads. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan have been cast as heel and babyface voices of reason over on the 'Land Of Opportunity' for refusing to buy into the November narrative. However, if anybody should be willing to stare into the abyss of 'Brand Supremacy' it should have been these two.

John Cena agreed to join Team Blue by virtue of retweeting Shane McMahon's announcement of the news. If his performance on the show was anything to go by, it might be how the deal actually happened. 'Big Match John' was a passenger in one of the year's biggest main events, and a fly-by-night to proceedings in general. He also picked the worst evening to flog brand new bright green clobber, and disregarded the one job every other star had that night by high-fiving Raw announcer Booker T as he went to the ring. Where were the A4 printouts by the Gorilla position reminding talents to 'KEEP ON BRAND'?!

Triple H was a similar offender. The topliner eventually became all about him, despite his involvement only confirmed on the go-home show via a turn-of-the-century midcarder Pedigree. He was at it again, here too, but his biggest crime was his red t-shirt/black trunks combo. Presumably the script on his latest sh*tty merch was Latin for 'not on the same team as these absolute mugs'.
