8. Sins Of The Father

Triple H Shane McMahon

Showing sartorial solidarity if not his usual sunny smile, Jason Jordan wasn't homophonically foreshadowing a latter appearance on the card when he claimed to be 'fully healed' from the knee injury that convinced Kurt Angle to rule him out of the five-on-five blockbuster main event.

The former American Alpha man was none-too-pleased with Triple H though, and rightfully f**king so. 'The Game' Pedigreed him all the way out of the pay-per-view on Monday, whilst Daddy dearest stood there doing absolutely bot all about it. He didn't even look that peeved as the two stood side by side in the main event either. It can't have pleased Jordan to see Hunter and Kurt playing nicey nicey in early exchanges, but he can at least play Captain Hindsight on this week's Raw after Hunter's needless betrayal of the Olympian.

That Jordan's promo even occurred (to the soundtrack of vociferous boos from the capacity crowd) at least highlighted that the company finally seem to have picked a direction for the absurd Angle angle. Game-midcarder-who-happens-to-be-the-gaffer's-biological-son was working about as well as Jason's green and yellow colour scheme. In wrestling terms, those shades represent inexperienced and cowardly, respectively. Hardly the makings of a new top face, but certainly the palette of the audience's latest figure of bilious derision.
