7. Table For Three

Oh, what could have been.

Here's the thing about a match with something so utterly absurd as a dead dad's face on a table literally lingering in the background - people will use the grisly prop as the stick to beat it with. Look beyond the Sports Entertainment silliness, and this whole thing was sublime patter.

For better and worse (and in your writer's opinion, it was far better), the construction of the match was inch perfect, particular as pertained to the late Jim Neidhart's looming spectre. After Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan took two of the best sh*tkickings of the night, the same fate inevitably awaited Riott Squad leader Ruby, but what tantalising drama throughout that the ghoulish worst might occur.

If anything, it was mildly disappointing when the grisly sight of daughter and father reunited in broken bodies didn't go down, but WWE actually delivered a babyface comprehensively getting comeuppance for some peak heel sh*thousery. For an organisation that used to be the preserve of the hero before throwing an arm over the shoulder of the ugly worst, it was a pleasant compromise.
