13 Greatest Wrestling Trios Ever

5. Too Cool And Rikishi

The trio of Too Cool and Rikishi never should have been as successful as it was. After all, Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor had been teaming for over a year by the time they adopted the personas of "Grandmaster Sexay" and "Scotty Too Hotty." They were largely an enhancement act, an opening match team that squared off with the likes of the Headbangers and a young Hardy Boyz team prior to becoming Too Cool and acting like fly white boys. Rikishi, on the other hand, had been out of the national spotlight for two years and hardly fit the direction the company was headed. He was a reminder of the awful gimmicks that had plagued WWE during the New Generation era, a relic from the past. But his ability to adapt, to become a dancing heavyweight with a penchant for shaking his ass and sticking it in his opponent's faces. Together, the three misfits formed a trio that became wildly popular and soon found itself in high profile feuds and matches with the likes of Triple H, D-Generation X and the Radicalz. Arenas all over the company were jam packed with fans wanting to see the three Superstars dance after matches, sometimes alongside the likes of the Dudley Boyz, APA, Chyna and Chris Jericho. The act was fun, energetic and brought a flare of comedy at time when the top of the card was overly serious, making them one of the most memorable acts of the new Millennium.
