13 Most Profitable Years In WWE History

6. 2003 $48,192,000

The May 2002 to April 2003 period for WWE was a disaster, with the company losing $19,455,000. Wrestling profits had actually been $16,362,000, but that was scuppered by a massive $35,557,000 loss from the closing of The World Restaurant.

They bounced back for the remainder of 2003 making $48,192,000 in profits. This was the height of the brand extension, with separate rosters for Raw and SmackDown television, PPV and live shows. It was also arguably the strongest talent pool they ever had, with even WCW franchise Bill Goldberg coming on board as part of the Raw brand.
