13 Most Underused Talents In WWE Today

7. Neville

Neville was the top star in NXT in 2014, allowing the brand to reach unforeseen heights as the longest-reigning NXT Champion at an astounding 287 days. Since his debut on the main roster, however, Neville has been treated as little more than a spot monkey, his signature high-flying moves, including the awe-inspiring Red Arrow, being the main feature of his matches. There€™s nothing wrong with showcasing his unprecedented move-set, but when it€™s the only thing highlighted as part of Neville€™s arsenal, his character loses depth quickly. Neville is a fantastic wrestler, from both a technical and an aerial standpoint, but he can also play a role in any storyline very well, as evidenced by his work as an underdog against Bo Dallas, and as a dominant champion against Sami Zayn. So far, he€™s had very little promo opportunity, and therefore very little involvement in storylines and rivalries, and I think that€™s a major missed opportunity for WWE. He€™s much more than a comic book superhero, and he deserves to be treated as such. An Intercontinental Championship rivalry against his former nemesis, Kevin Owens would do well to accentuate that.
