13 Reasons To Love Eddie Guerrero Vs. Rey Mysterio In WWE

2. Custody Of Dominick Ladder Match - SummerSlam

The Eddie/Rey/Dominick business was settled at SummerSlam in a ladder match with the custody of Dominick on the line. Yes, WWE actually put custody of a child on the line. In a wrestling match. Pure Wrestlecrap? Sure, but it also mean that Rey and Eddie would clash once again on a major PPV. And this time, there'd be ladders. Despite a couple of messy moments, such as a bungled backbody drop off the top of the ladder and a mis-timed sunset flip powerbomb, this was never anything less than exciting, and featured some genuinely innovating ladder-based offense. In one of the matche's most memorable moments, Eddie Guerrero snap at referee Charles Robinson, who were located at ringside. Losing his rag after his wife Vickie missed her cue, Eddie unleashed a torrent of abuse towards the unfortunate official, screaming: 'God dammit...motherf***er! Where the F*** was Vickie? God dammit. You stupid motherf***er!'. Poor Charles. Anyway, Vickie eventually made it to the ring, pushing Eddie off the ladder and allowing Rey to win. Rey has recently named this match his favourite of all-time and, while he's no doubt had better matches, it's understandable why he chose it, considering the setting, his opponent and the fact that it involved his son. The last PPV match between Rey and Eddie had some bumps along the way, but it's yet another great outing for them.
