Traditionally, this Ups to Downs ratio would indicate a great show, but that's not the case. Knockouts Knockdown simply did a lot of things the right way that teetered on great without actually reaching that rank. A lot of it was good and/or enjoyable, at most.

They must get out of the of promoting an entire tournament in one night. Last night was the third IMPACT Plus special of the year that's been based around a tournament, Genesis' Super X Cup and the Homecoming tournament being the prior two. Your writer is all for a tournament, so long as they're spread out. It gets tiring watching the same crop of wrestlers doing their thing for three hours, hence why WWE feels like a massive round-robin tournament at times.

Still, there was some truly great in-ring action.

Masha Slamovich had a superb debut vs. Deonna Purrazzo, matching her style perfectly. The same goes for Jamie Senegal and Lady Frost, who wrestled expertly structured matches with Tasha Steelz and Rachael Ellering, respectively.

Oh, yeah, and the former IIconics are coming to IMPACT. They'll debut at Bound For Glory.

It's a genuinely riveting time to be an IMPACT fan. Let's get to it...
