LA Knight's in-ring wobbles have rocked WWE management's confidence in him.

WrestleVotes reported during a recent fan Q&A that top figures in WWE management don't have stellar amounts of confidence in LA Knight. In fact, according to sources, they'd rather put full trust behind Jey Uso than Knight, citing his strong merchandise sales and "coachability".

The website pointed to several in-ring wobbles and botches that have afflicted Knight in recent times. His plight was laid bare during the second season of reality show Unreal on Netflix, and things haven't exactly picked up for the popular babyface on screen since.

Now, even some of his biggest supporters in the stands wonder if Knight will ever reach the top of the card in WWE and become a sustainable headliner. Those worries are valid despite rumblings of a possible match with top star Roman Reigns in the future.

Of course, Knight was booted out of this year's King Of The Ring tournament on Friday's episode of SmackDown. There, he lost out to Uso in a Fatal-4-Way main event which also involved Royce Keys and Finn Bálor. So, it's onto the next for LA, but...what does that look like?

Rather definitively, WrestleVotes said: "WWE feels Jey Uso is a better worker than LA Knight". That tracks with how both have been pushed on television in recent years, but Jey's own main event push subsided eventually and he's been stuck back in the tag-team division alongside his brother Jimmy for a while.

However, Uso did advance to the semi final stage of KOTR. He'll wrestle Je'Von Evans, with the winner of that meeting Oba Femi in the final at Night Of Champions on 27 June.
