11. Rest In Power, Daffney

It was to be expected, but IMPACT Wrestling's ten-bell salute in celebrate and memory of the late Daffney at the top of the show was as touching as it was right. IMPACT had to pay the proper respect to Daffney; a simple 'in memory of...' graphic, which did happen when she initially passed, wouldn't have sufficed.

Seeing everyone in and around the ring to remember the efforts of Daffney in bringing diversity to the knockouts division was an appropriate beginning to this show. That it preceded the opening video package cemented its importance, as did a short speech from Lexie Fyfe, who was there on behalf of Daffney's family.

This felt like respect was being paid to a family member. She was so clearly loved by both IMPACT as a promotion and everyone in the business. The key message to take away is to check on your loved ones. Not everything is always as it seems.
