2019 saw several new faces come into the fold at Impact Wrestling, providing several of the independent scene's greatest unsigned talents with the chance they needed to put their name out there for the whole world to see. While some of them are yet to make their mark in the company, others have really come out of their shell to show a wider fanbase exactly why they need to take notice.

Ace Austin, The North, and The Rascalz proved to be the most successful of these acts. Austin's antics towards Eddie and Alisha Edwards made for a fine story, with Alisha finally realising what 'The One True Ace' was really up to making for an excellent end result. Meanwhile, the tag team division has been bolstered with the additions of The North and The Rascalz (they technically came in at the end of 2018, but didn't really do anything of note until 2019).

The likes of Tessa Blanchard, Rich Swann, and Willie Mack, who had already been around in Impact for decent lengths of time before the year, made sure everyone was talking about them once 2019 was all said and done. More on Blanchard later, but Swann and Mack have been nothing short of great in the X division. In addition, Rich's recent performances in both the Elimination Challenge and the Tag Team Open (which he fought mostly on his own following Mack's injury) left the bulk of fans wanting more and more from the former X Division Champion.

It's things like this that make Impact Wrestling so good. They really know how to push their talents, and who to push at the correct times when the fan support is truly behind them.
