Tag team action in Impact Wrestling during 2019 was perhaps the best thing about the company's actual wrestling over the 12 month period. Sure, you could go for the X division or the Knockouts division, but the doubles division undoubtedly provided the most match of the night contenders.

Throughout the year, teams such as The Lucha Bros, LAX, The Rascalz, and The North have helped establish the promotion's reputation as a grand place for duos to scrap, with the battles between Pentagon Jr., Fenix, Ortiz, and Santana, in particular, being out of this world. Their main event bout at Rebellion remains one of Impact Wrestling's best matches of 2019, aside from a crazy Spanish fly from Fenix that ended awkwardly on his part.

Even though The Lucha Bros and LAX, who were both the teams to beat in Impact for a considerable amount of time, have now moved on to pastures new, tag team wrestling in Impact remains at the top. They completely revitalised the division to the point where it doesn't matter if the top teams have left because the remaining teams are still doing a superb job.
