13 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Fyter Fest 2019

7. Because He's Better Than You...

How do you put MJF on your wrestler show and not have him cut a promo? You don't, and the biggest d*ckhead in AEW tore everyone to pieces prior to his four-way bout.

The crowd were already booing Friedman out of the building by the time he grabbed the microphone. He shot hard on a crowd largely comprised of gamer, dropping untoward comments about the "basement-dwellers" and their mothers, before turning his crosshairs on his opponents. MJF calling Page (who is a "f*cking horse," of course) 'Seabiscuit' will never not be great. From there, he went back to Daytona Beach, saying that if he was them, he'd be watching reruns of their episodes of "My 600lb Life," and that he "loved video games... until I lost my virginity."

While not as scathing as his DON rant (where he had a tremendous target to aim for in Hart), MJF came off like a fabulous bastard here. He's the next big heel in professional wrestling and will therefore be a vital piece for AEW going forward.
