13 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Fyter Fest 2019

4. Skip To Kip

Kip Sabian
AEW

England's Kip Sabian was on commentary for Hangman Page's victory over MJF, Jimmy Havoc and Jungle Boy, and in the night's weirdest booking move, it looks like Page's win has "qualified" him for a match with Sabian - presumably about Fight For The Fallen.

Sabian effectively revealed the match from the booth, claiming he'd take a massive step forward if he could defeat Page before his big World Title shot. He's right, but where on Earth did this come from?

Kip is a fine wrestler, but his AEW resume amounts to no more than a Buy In win over Sammy Guevara so far, while Page triumphed in the inaugural Casino Battle Royale and just bested Havoc. Somehow, though, we're supposed to take Sabian as being on the same level or even above Hangman?

Odd. Super odd.
