13 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Nov 27)

6. A Good Match Is A Good Match...

Orange Cassidy Turkey
AEW

... even when its defining image is Orange Cassidy diving off the top rope in a turkey suit.

Booking concerns aside, Best Friends vs. Lucha Brothers was a strong tag team bout that began with Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. attacking their opponents on the ramp. This lead to Orange Cassidy's dive. Without pockets to stuff his hands in, 'Freshly Squeeze' spread his big red wings, and yes, it was goofy, but it got a pop. It was over.

Things got more exciting when Fenix decided to take his white hoodie off and take the bout a little more seriously, with the Lucha Brothers lighting Best Friends up with signature offense. They got their sh*t in, but took their eyes off the prize late on, with Penta eating Chuck Taylor's leaping cannonball after going after Cassidy on the outside. Later, the once-terrifying skeleton ninja scored a near-fall on Trent following a Destroyer, though this big move was once again undersold, and the former Beretta ended up scoring the shock win with a surprise Crunchy on Fenix.

The thing about this division is that the matches almost always deliver, even when the booking looks confusing. This was the case again here.
