13 Ups And 23 Downs For WWE In 2020

22. Bow Out, Not Bow Down

King Corbin The Usos Roman Reigns

WWE’s King of the Ring is far from wrestling royalty, both in terms of in the ring and in booking.

King Corbin’s 2020 started with him battling Roman Reigns using dog food as a weapon, and it ended with him getting Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler as lackeys to bail him out, because that was what was lacking for him.

In between, Corbin lost his feud with Roman Reigns, lost to Elias at WrestleMania 36, lost the Money in the Bank ladder match, lost to Matt Riddle, lost to Otis, lost to Jeff Hardy, and lost at Survivor Series. He’s just a big goof with a crown and scepter at this point. If anyone needs to come off TV for a while and rebuild, it’s Corbin.

But he’s a heat machine!... said no one. If anyone is clamoring for a Baron Corbin match in 2020, they’ve got bigger problems in life.
