5. Hirooki Goto

Goto was in TNA as part of Team Japan for the World X Cup before he eventually grew into the fierce warrior that he is today. Goto and his teammates won a 6 sides of steel 6-man tag match at Lockdown. He would then go on to lose his following two matches, tag action against Sonjay Dutt and Alex Shelley, and the same gauntlet match that Liger had lost out in.

Once he returned to Japan he would earn a reputation as one of the company's best workers through two intense feuds with Shinsuke Nakamura and Katsuyori Shibata, which made him a consistent name dropped in contention for the IWGP Intercontinental title and the NEVER openweight belt. His long time friend and rival in Shibata also helped Goto reach the top of the mountain as a tag team wrestler when they formed MeiYu Tag.

Regardless of his win-loss record, Goto will always be seen as a strong presence in the NJPW locker room, and for CHAOS. He has always stood as the imposing gatekeeper that younger wrestlers like Juice Robinson and Jay White have had to prove themselves against.

Matches against guys like KENTA, Ishii, Suzuki, and Shibata prove that Hirooki Goto is one of the greatest strong-style wrestlers the world will ever know.
