Wrestling fans might read this entry and think that the winner of a battle royal on the pre-show of WrestleMania might not be need to be included on this list. That should change when you think about the factors surrounding the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31.

Following several months of being one of the best acts on WWE programming, Damien Mizdow slowly started to tease turning on the man he was a stunt double for, The Miz. After losing their tag team championships and failing to regain them, a match between The A-Lister and his stunt double seemed a sure thing for WrestleMania. However, the pair stayed together, vowing to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal instead.

At The Showcase of the Immortals, Mizdow finally turned on his boss and eliminated Miz, to one of the loudest reactions of the night. The only problem was the former tag team champions were not the final two men in the match. Mizdow would be the final man eliminated, by arguably the last person who needed a win at WrestleMania, The Big Show.

Instead of a moment that could have cemented Sandow as a top babyface, he was quickly sent back down the card, being given the awful Meta Powers gimmick alongside Curtis Axel.
