13 WWE Wrestlers With The Most PPV Main Events

2. John Cena - 64 PPV Main Event Appearances

John Cena will undoubtedly be at the top of this list within even a year. He's just one PPV main event behind the current number one. Cena's sixty four show closers are what you'd expect from a franchise star who has dominated the WWE landscape for ten years. There's been down times and injuries, but he's pretty consistently been right there in the main events for the most part. That includes a staggering five WrestleMania show closers, one of which was the record breaking Mania 28 show with The Rock. It isn't a secret that many fans hate Cena's decade long run on top, but you can't really argue with the numbers he produces. Arenas fill and PPV buys go up with him in that main event slot. He's also one of the hardest working men in the industry, taking on a work load that few others in the business would want. At only 38 years of age, and with a big money heel turn still in him, he could conceivably hit the one hundred main events mark. The Cenation leader is far from finished painting his legacy.
