14 Athletes Who Appeared At The Super Bowl And WrestleMania

14-11. LT€™s Entourage

Super Bowls played in: Various WrestleMania appeared in: WrestleMania XI Several entrants on this list came in two bunches when WWE figured that partnering with the NFL would help sell WrestleMania to the mainstream more. In this case, WrestleMania XI in 1995 was short on in-ring talent (seven matches, including one celebrity bout), so the company bulked up the event by overloading it with celebrities €“ Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, various C-level TV stars, and of course, a contingent from the NFL. Ken Norton Jr., Carl Banks, Rickey Jackson and Reggie White were part of Lawrence Taylor€™s entourage in the main event of Mania that year, accompanying LT to the ring and serving as his backup as Taylor battled the Million Dollar Corporation€™s Bam Bam Bigelow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SI6CibgbxM Norton is a three-time Super Bowl champion, playing for the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowls XXVII and XXVIII and for the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX. Banks is a two-time champion with the New York Giants, playing in Super Bowls XXI and XXV. Jackson teamed with Norton on the 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX. And White won a ring with the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXI, then played again in a losing effort at Super Bowl XXXII. That€™s a pretty stacked lineup, but it doesn€™t take into account everyone who was in Taylor€™s entourage€
