3. Trios Tournament Finals: The Elite vs. The Dark Order/Best Friends

This article was composed before this week's live episode of Rampage aired. Best Friends and Dark Order are due to contest their semi-finals match on that show, leaving the tournament finals halfway open.

A reality doesn't exist in which Best Friends go over, though. Ten was removed from this tournament so that 'Hangman' Adam Page could be inserted ahead of an emotional showdown with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. Best Friends are therefore a speedbump. Elite-branded melodrama will reign at All Out.

The overwhelming majority of AEW fans will lap up the latest chapter of one of the most objectively successful long-term storylines in modern wrestling history. Expect scintillating action and the kind of drama only possible when the storyline has been running for so long it predates the wrestling promotion.

An Elite victory to kickstart another period of Page's self-doubt before someday coming back together with his estranged allies is likely the best outcome.

Winners: The Elite
