2. Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho defeated Eddie Kingston so he could get a run at Jon Moxley's Interim AEW World Championship then cycle back down the Blackpool Combat Club, entering this feud with Bryan Danielson.

What will become of Daniel Garcia is the most interesting question here. The Dragon Slayer attempted to mend fences with Jericho on Dynamite, pledging allegiance to the Appreciation Society, but was responsible for his mentor eating a Busaiku Knee Kick after wresting a steel chair from his clutches. Garcia sold it like the screw-up it was, leaving his status in flux.

It's unlikely to be a simple case of Garcia ending up alongside whoever ends this match. The poor guy isn't being suspended above the ring in a shark cage. Nonetheless, the story opens the possibility of a screwy finish, with Garcia interfering on Jericho's behalf.

Or Danielson could just beat Jericho, cleanly, without any nonsense. Which is hopefully how this will go.

Winner: Bryan Danielson
