14 Huge AEW All Out 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

1. AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. CM Punk

AEW All Out 2022 Jon Moxley CM Punk
AEW

Two options here, both of which are fantastic.

1. Jon Moxley retains the AEW World Championship and continues the fantastic run he's been on since returning to AEW post-rehab. He is, at the time of writing, the runaway Wrestler of the Year. Genuine contenders to that throne are few and far between, so for his outrageous consistency in a wide variety of wrestling promotions throughout 2022, Moxley deserves this spotlight. He is the hero AEW deserves and needs, too, though he'll likely play heel for CM Punk in Chicago, particularly after slaughtering him on the microphone.

2. CM Punk learns from the mistakes made in his first bout, takes Jon Moxley seriously, adapts, weathers an incredible storm, sells his repaired foot as if it's about to fall off, and reclaims the AEW World Championship. He remembers who he is in his hometown, four days after having his fire slapped into him by Ace Steel. Then, he embarks on the kind of title run promised before injury forced him away from AEW for a while.

We're going with option two. Despite their rivalry's quality and length, there's plenty of ground to be explored between him and a certain imminent returnee.

Winner: CM Punk
