14 Missed Opportunities In The Undertaker's WWE Career
5. WWE Vs UFC
This was another frustrating missed opportunity for The Undertaker, when a WWE vs UFC match almost happened. It all went down in late 2010, with the view to doing a Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker match at WrestleMania 27 in 2011. At the time, Lesnar was under a UFC contract, meaning that it would have been WWE vs UFC even if it wasn't promoted as such. Vince McMahon and UFC President Dana White had clearly explored the option. The Undertaker was allowed to a UFC show in December 2010 to shoot an angle with Lesnar, in which he remarked "you wanna do it" as Lesnar as walked past after taking a beating from Cain Velasquez. MMA journalist Ariel Helwani conveniently caught it all on camera. But the UFC obviously thought better of it and later stopped Lesnar from working for WWE while under his UFC contract. Taker lost out what would have been potentially the biggest pay per view bonus of his life.
