14 Things We Learned From Eric Bischoff On Legends With JBL (Part 2)

4. Bash At The Beach 2000

Invariably, talk turns to the infamous Bash at the Beach 2000 incident, with JBL noting that there are two conflicting stories. Russo's story is that he, Bischoff and Hogan that the angle was going to go down exactly as it did, whilst Bischoff and Hogan contend that they had no prior knowledge of Russo's 'shoot' which took place after they had left the building. 'If Russo says that, Vince Russo is a liar'. Bischoff says that there is a record somewhere in an Atlanta courthouse in a settlement between Turner Broadcasting and Hogan that documents exactly what happened. Bischoff then speaks at length about what happened during that day but, bottom line, Russo is a liar and Hogan and Bischoff only found out once they stopped off a plane in Tampa, Florida. Bischoff notes that Hogan is 'in the region of $4 or 5 million dollars richer - well, his wife is - as a result of the lawsuit'.
