14 Things We Learned From Eric Bischoff On Legends With JBL (Part 2)
10. He Doesn't Think Kevin Nash Was A Success As Booker
Overwhelmed with the workload and the internal power-struggle, Bischoff gave the creative book to Kevin Nash in 1999. JBL bluntly asks him if that was a good idea to which Bischoff responds that, in retrospect, of course not. They put over Nash for being a smart guy but don't think he was a success as a booker. Bischoff doesn't think that it failed because Nash was looking out for his best interests and putting himself and his friends first, however. He notes that Nash (along with Hogan, Hall and Sean Waltman) all contributed ideas to the nWo angle and were a big part of its success. Nash was somebody that Bischoff could lean on for support. They don't really talk in-depth about Nash's failings as a booker, just saying that it wasn't a success but also putting him over for having a good mind for the business.
