9. Bischoff's Reaction To The DX Invasion

It was mentioned earlier in the interview, but JBL goes back to the DX invasion of WCW and asks Bischoff why he didn't have a response for that move in particular. JBL tells Bischoff that Jerry Brisco got them thinking there could be an invasion in response, so JBL, Ken Shamrock, the Harris brothers, Ron Simmons and Steve Blackman went to the car park in case WCW personnel showed up (JBL then bemoans the fact that Haku never showed up since he wanted to see him fight Shamrock. So why didn't Bischoff respond? Well, he didn't anticipate it. He didn't expect to see DX outside the arena in a tank (actually a Jeep), and says that if he knew they were going to come he would have invited them in because it would have been 'one of the greatest shows ever produced'. Bischoff says it would have never come to violence and JBL agrees that the two guys in rival promotions didn't hate each other, they were just competing on a professional level.
